Innovation Challenge Ready To Begin

Please wish them good luck as 200 boys and girls student embark in the Lambaye Inovation Challenge (LIC). These students, mostly from high and middle schools will identify problems in their community and come up with proposed solutions. While they study the problems, students will learn new skills in coding, robotics, 3D printing, math, science and art to solve the problems they have identified. Students will be supported by professionals and experts in the field of STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art and math) from both Senegal and the United States . A huge thank you to the US Embassy for giving us a grant for this one year program at the Lambaye Learning Center.

The parents and students are so excited and appreciative to start this innovative program in the rural community of Lambaye.

A very special thank you goes to Assane Fall, Mamadou Drame, Henry - Aime Koné , and the entire Students for Sénégal team in the United States team for their tireless efforts to bring this program to the people of Lambaye.

Let’s all cheer them up in this new endeavor. Stay tuned for more to come.
