Describe your arrival to the village

The welcome ceremony for the village was a day to remember. When we first arrived, we were greeted outside by our buddies. They gave us name tags. We then walked in to find music playing and people dancing. We danced and celebrated the moment for about ten minutes before we were seated in the library. From there we listened to multiple members of the Lambaye center and community talk about how much they appreciated us being there. Our buddies then sand a song for us and we sang for them. Then one of the students who is known for his rapping rapped some of his songs for us. He was very talented. We then had lunch which was fish and rice with vegetables. It was unbelievable good. After lunch we talked with our buddies for a few hours before going to the agricultural center for dinner and to sleep.
