What was it like getting to know students in the village?

My favorite moment from the Senegal 2024 Trip was seeing Fallou, my buddy at the Learning Center. All of our buddies were excited to see us, and always wanted to try to help us with whatever they could. Fallou consistently tried to give me his chair so that I could sit down, and I observed similar generosity from all of the other buddies. They were all very happy to see us and get close to us despite all of the differences in our lives, including the language barrier. Spending time with our buddies in Lambaye changed how I look at the world, as it was an unforgettable experience.
