Join Us: Senegal 2025

Join us on a life changing trip to Senegal! We have taken groups of students to Senegal nine times, in 2011, 2013, 2016, 2018, 2020, and 2022, twice in 2023 and in 2024. Apply to travel with us on our 10th trip!!

This trip is more than just an opportunity to explore a new place—it's a chance to engage deeply with the vibrant traditions of Senegal and make a meaningful impact through service learning at the Lambaye Learning Center in the village of Lambaye. Throughout the week, you will immerse yourself in the rhythms of Senegalese life, experiencing firsthand the warmth and hospitality that the country is known for. From the bustling streets of Dakar to the serene landscapes of rural villages, you'll have the chance to see how tradition and modernity coexist in this dynamic nation.

Your time in Lambaye will be particularly special. Here, you will participate in service learning missions at the Lambaye Learning Center, a hub of education and empowerment in the community. This center plays a vital role in providing vocational training and educational opportunities to women and young people in the village, helping to build brighter futures and strengthen the community.

Through your work at the Learning Center, you will not only contribute to these important initiatives but also learn valuable lessons about resilience, collaboration, and the power of education. Whether you're helping with educational projects, engaging with local students, or supporting community activities, your efforts will leave a lasting impact on the people of Lambaye—and on you.

As you explore Senegalese culture, you'll discover the rich heritage that has shaped this nation. From traditional music and dance to the delicious flavors of Senegalese cuisine, each experience will deepen your understanding of the country's diverse cultural landscape.

This trip is an opportunity to grow, learn, and connect—with the people of Senegal, with each other, and with the world. Get ready for a week of unforgettable experiences that will broaden your perspective and inspire you to become a more engaged global citizen.
