THANK YOU. SeneGALA 2024 raised over 30,000$$$ and over 130 people came out to support and contribute. We are so grateful to the entire community for their support. The goal of our gala was to raise $10,000 for a fund to support job training and education of young people in Lambaye. We smashed that goal and in the next few days we are trying to raise an additional $5,000 to help level up and sustain these programs. Click the link in our bio to see more on our website. Thank you again for everyone’s incredible support and to the whole team for pulling off a great night!

Dear @wallyseckofficiel ,
We are reaching out to share with you a beautiful story in Senegal that was sparked by your music. We are a high school club in New York, USA called Students for Senegal. We are a non profit organization dedicated to fundraising and supporting education of children and women in Lambaye. Our teacher, Amary Seck, grew up there and is our organizer, Chemistry teacher and fearless leader!
We raised money to build a learning center in Lambaye. During this trip, we spent several days with the kids there. This video captured the opening ceremony where your song, Une Chance, brought us all together! Thank you for this! Jërëjëf!
If you are interested we would love to share more with you about the work we are doing in Senegal. 🇸🇳

Senegalese Opposition leader, Ousmane Sonko, was sentenced to two years for “corrupting the youth,” and many Senegalese people have viewed this as a way to restrict him from challenging President Macky Sall in the 2024 election. This sentence has caused numerous outbreaks of riots, sadly leading to 15 deaths and potentially counting. Locals in the city of Dakar are attempting to shield themselves from the chaos outside.
We continue to pray for our friends in Senegal, hoping that this violence is close to an end.
