Huge thank you to our 60+ students and 300+ donors and partners that helped us raise over $17,000 to support education in Senegal at at 2024 Turkey Trot!

Very proud of our founder and CEO @amary.seck.9 for being invited to attend the 2024 Clinton Global Initiative (CGI) annual meeting in New York. Students for Senegal has made a Commitment to Action to support sustainable agribusiness for women and Girls in Senegal. A huge Thank you to CGI for inviting us to this meeting and to support our mission. I met so many amazing people who are bringing solutions to the problems our world is facing. Successful Vocational Training In Textiles Manufacturing at the Lambaye Learning Center: Partnering with The Maiden Factor we worked with the local community to design and implement a succsseful 3 month piliot training in textiles design at the Lambaye Learning Center!

As the year has now drawn to a close, I wanted to take some time to thank the student leaders who worked so hard to make Students for Senegal a success each year! This year we had Ava, Ayden, Hayden, Henry, Liv, India and Saliou leading our team of over 60 student members and they did a wonderful job. congratulations to all the graduating class!
I also want to thank all of you because I am happy to report that we met our goal of raising an additional $15,000 dedicated to job training programs! THANK YOU. SeneGALA 2024 raised over 30,000$$$ and over 130 people came out to support and contribute. We are so grateful to the entire community for their support. The goal of our gala was to raise $10,000 for a fund to support job training and education of young people in Lambaye. We smashed that goal and in the next few days we are trying to raise an additional $5,000 to help level up and sustain these programs. Click the link in our bio to see more on our website.
