Dying Workshop To Promote Women’s Economic Independence

Training in dyeing and production for women (February 2020): With a subsidy of nearly 90% from Students For Senegal, the women of Lambaye were trained in dyeing and production for a period of one month in collaboration with RIACFILMS.

Practical workshops that allowed women to learn dyeing techniques with color mixing, creating patterns and design. This pilot training will allow women to start a production activity with the creation of a small GIE. They will be supervised and supported at the center in order to professionalize their activity. Another group of women will be selected for another training on the same theme.
